Kommentar/Beschreibung

The module is designed for students who wish to get a leadership/management position in their future careers. The main focus of the module is to propose possible ways to apply the leadership theories to practice. The module is designed as a short intensive course and it includes active discussions, media usage, interactive group and pair work, discussions with experts such as scholars and etc.. The topics to be covered:
• Leadership: Person or Practice ?
• Distinguishing the concept of leadership from the concept of management and administration
• Leadership models and their applications
• Organizational culture and success
• Building and leading a team
• Motivation and individuals
• Power and conflict within organization/workplace
• Emotional intelligence and its importance for a leader
